Rock Solid Storage KC is an underground storage facility providing a climate controlled environment for boats, campers, RVs, and a wide variety of commercial and recreational vehicles.
Operating at a constant temperature of 58° F year-round, Rock Solid is an ideal storage solution for all of your watercraft and vehicles.

Our facility is easily accessible from US 40 HWY & Lee’s Summit Road or I-470 & Douglas Road.
To access the facility, enter through the white gates with white board fence, head up the hill, and enter the entrance paved with concrete.
No, we do not require payments except for when you bring the unit into storage and when you take it out (up to one year).
You will pay an initial fee when you put your unit in storage, then pay the remaining balance when you take your unit out.

Make sure your unit is COMPLETELY DRY.
If you have a watercraft, please ensure it is free of algae, zebra mussels, and other debris.
Self-serve plastic sheets are available for customer use. It is recommended that your boat remain covered while in storage unless it is wet inside. If that is the case the boat should not be stored until it is completely dry.

We can accommodate vehicles, boats, and RVs that are less than 32 ft long, 9½ ft wide, and 11 ft high.
Please consider total height including A/C units, etc.
We work by appointment only. Please call 7 days in advance and we will try our best to accommodate your needs.
No. To ensure the highest level of security we are not able to provide unlimited access for our customers.
You need to call and make an appointment to access your watercraft or vehicle.
This is not the right storage option if you need frequent access.
The facility is fully secured and monitored 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
